Tailings Ponds Purification

Tailings ponds are large areas of manmade waste water from the production of crude oil. Since it takes approximately two barrels of water to produce one barrel of crude, many of these ponds are several miles long and can be several miles wide.
Waste products in the tailings ponds are allowed to sink to the bottom while the surface water is reused. This cycle takes place until the water is so polluted it becomes unusable.
The environment around these large bodies of water is greatly affected leading to contaminated surroundings and killing wildlife.
Eagle Environmental Solutions' technical department has formulated a system for oil production companies to remove pollutants and production waste from the recycled water. Clean water is then returned to the production plant. The need for contaminated tailings ponds becomes obsolete.
